HMP Isle of Wight was created by an amalgamation of the three former establishments, Albany, Camp Hill, and Parkhurst.
Camp Hill was built in 1912 using prisoner labour from HMP Parkhurst and opened by Winston Churchill. It lies adjacent to Albany and Parkhurst on the outskirts of Newport, Isle of Wight and is a Category C Training prison.

Reception criteria: Normal reception arrangements. Camp Hill accepts prisoners who are suitable for Category C conditions.
